Network interface &30 failed. Cable or hardware problem. (C G R)

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The connection to the network failed. Possible problems are:
-- Cable
-- Network
-- Configuration
-- Input/output adapter (IOA)
-- Remote system, (if your system is directly attached to another system).
Recovery . . . : Find the message in the QSYSOPR message queue (use the DSPMSG command) that accompanied this message for the same network interface. (You may have to wait a few minutes for that message to arrive.) The message will show the original problem. Recover the network interface using the instructions in that message.
-- Type C to cancel recovery.
-- Type G to start the automatic communications recovery as defined by the system communications recovery limit (CMNRCYLMT) for line &23.
-- Type R to retry the operation.
If the problem continues, report the problem (ANZPRB command).
Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
C -- Cancel recovery and inform any applications that are waiting for an operation that the recovery has been canceled.
G -- Start the automatic communications recovery again as defined by the communications recovery limit (CMNRCYLMT) for network interface &30.
R -- Try the operation one more time.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The error log identifier is &22.
The error code is &40. The error codes and their meanings follow:
53001A80 -- Failed adapter condition. If the network is a Frame Relay network, the adapter lost communications with the network. If the physical interface is X.21, the X.21 network went to a not ready state. Other cases may be Data Set Ready (DSR) has dropped, or Clear To Send (CTS) has dropped.
