Substring of field &3 format &6 not valid.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : Starting position &1, ending position &2, or field &3 in derived item number &4 for derived field &5 in query format &6 is not valid. Field &3 must be a character, double-byte, or graphic field. The starting and ending position for graphic fields must be specified as double-byte characters. If an operand is *N, the operand is the result of previously derived operations.
