Literal &1 cannot be coerced to base type required for comparison.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : If the variable base type is PACKED, ZONED, BIN, DATE, or TIME, then the length of the literal must equal the length of the variable. If the variable base type is CHAR, IGC, NAME, or OBJNAME, then the length of the literal must be less than or equal to the length of the variable. Literal &1 is not the right length or does not contain the right type of data to be coerced to the base type required for comparison to the specified variable.
Recovery . . . : Change the length or the contents of the &1 literal so it can be coerced to the base type required for comparison to the specified variable. Then try the request again.
