Cause . . . . . : Edit code Y is defined for this field, but the length of the field is less than 3 digits or greater than 8 digits. Therefore, the field will be edited using the J edit code when the query is run.
Recovery . . . : If you do not want to use the J edit code, either change the numeric editing defined for this field or change the length of the field to be 3 to 8 digits in length.
