Cause . . . . . : The value you typed in the member name field is not valid. You may have typed the name incorrectly, or tried to use a generic name or a special name other than one of those shown in the message.
Recovery . . . : If you mistyped the name, type it correctly. Or you can select it from a list of members. If you are on the Specify File Selections display, position the cursor at the Member prompt and press F4 to list the members. Special names *FIRST, *LAST, and *ALL are also allowed.
If you are naming an object which does not yet exist, use the following rules. The name must be 1 through 10 characters long. The first character must be A through Z, Å, Æ, or Ø. The rest of the characters must be A through Z, 0 through 9, Å, Æ, Ø, ., or _. Blanks are not allowed within the name.
