Cause . . . . . : Size values (length and decimal positions) were specified as part of the definition for result field &6 in the Query for iSeries query definition analyzed, but query management does not support expression size overrides. Sizes assigned by internal database algorithms are used.
Changed size values could affect the running of derived objects in unexpected ways. Altered computation results could introduce a divide by zero failure, cause numeric overflow to occur more frequently, change the results of total and average calculations, or reverse the outcome of comparisons used for record selection, sorting, joining, and minimum/maximum summary function calculation. Analyze processing cannot determine the effect.
Recovery . . . : The algorithms for size assignment take into consideration the type and sequence of the operations and the sizes of the fields or constants to which they are applied. Therefore, you can influence the size indirectly by adjusting the expression for the result field. Use the WRKQRY command to change the Query for iSeries query definition.
If the assigned size is other than the specified size, make sure any resulting differences are acceptable before substituting query management produced data for that produced from the saved definition by Query for iSeries.
