/AIN/RFC - Create HTTP connections

In this IMG activity you define the technical parameters for the TCP/IP connections that SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure (SAP AII) uses for communicating with other systems.
A TCP/IP connection is a kind of RFC destination, and is maintained in Customizing for Auto-ID Infrastructureunder Basic Settings → Integration → Create RFC Connections . For more information, see Create RFC Connections.
You should specify at least two HTTP destinations: one for communication with XI and one or more for communication with device controllers.
- Choose Basic Settings → Integration → Create RFC Connections.
- In the RFC Destinations tree, open the branch HTTP Connections to R/3 System.
- Select Create and do the following:
- Enter a destination name and description.
- Select connection type H - HTTP Connection to R/3 System.
- Specify the following technical settings: target host, service number, and path prefix.
- If needed, complete details for the Logon/Security tab.
- If needed, change the default timeout, HTTP protocol version.
