/IAM/BADI_ECN_CAT - BAdI: Access to Business Object 'Change Master'

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Issue and Activity Engine component (CA-IAM-ENG). You use this BAdI to implement the access to a change master record.

When you create your own implementation, you must have created a new object category (key) for the change master (object type ECN) in your client using the Customizing activity Define Object Categories .

SAP delivers the following category along with the corresponding BAdI implementation:

• ECN_ERP: Change master

• Implementation: /IAM/ACCESS_ECN_ERP

To create your own implementation, proceed as follows:

1. Assign the filter values Object Category and Client.
2. Activate the BAdI implementation.
3. In the Customizing activity Define Object Access, check if there is an entry for the change master (ECN) under Object Type to allow access to the equipment from the application. If there is none, create an entry and proceed as follows:

• Assign the new object category to the relevant object type (ECN).
