In this section you control the MRP-relevant settings for the availability check and the updating of the stock keeping unit in stock. You decide if it should continue to be used as a non-cumulative value. With the SKU status, you can also influence whether a stock keeping unit (SKU) should be replenished (depending on whether the availability check is carried out with or without the RLT).

Define an SKU-status for the MRP. Choose whether the availability check of the corresponding SKU should include the replenishment lead time. In this context, decide whether procurement proposals should continue to be created for the relevant SKU during the MRP.

If you specify for a certain SKU that no more procurement proposals should be created during the MRP, the MRP will block this SKU.

You assign the SKU status to a material in the AFS MRP view of the material master.
