Definition
The data temperature is a date used in data aging.
When used to specify data accesses, it defines whether "hot data only" is respected (data value "00000000"), "hot data and all cold data" (data value "00010101"), or "hot data and cold data from the given data value (data value greater than "00010101").
Use
When specifying database accesses, the data temperature is passed to access control using a program-driven method.
Dependencies
The data temperature is ignored unless data aging is activated.
