Cause . . . . . : Sort field selections in the Query for iSeries query definition analyzed include a field that will be among those dropped from the report to limit the number of columns to 255 or to omit columns from summary-only output. Records or record groups may not be in the desired order.
Recovery . . . : Use the WRKQRY command to change the Query for iSeries query definition. If &6 was dropped from the end of the report to reduce the number of field selections to the query management database limit of 255, select the dropped field instead of one having no effect on record sorting. If &6 was dropped because no report break or summary function number was selected for it and summary-only output was requested, change the output form to detail to get the desired grouping order, or, if it can be done in a way that produces the desired grouping, select &6 as an additional break field for a previously defined level.
