Beschreibung
This report compiles a statistic of personnel movements that have taken place for an organizational unit over a period of time. It reconciles a beginning employee count with an ending count by taking into consi- deration hirings, terminations, retirings, and transfers (in and out). In addition to the detail given per organizational unit, summaries per plant section, plant and company are compiled. Optionally, the report will deliver the statistic by organizational units only. Also, a detailed list with employees' names and events can be generated. NOTES:

  • If this report has to be reconciled with headcount reports, it must be noted that the beginning count per organizational unit is the count on the day BEFORE the beginning of the selection period.

  • In order to take different implementations into consideration, SELECT-OPTIONS are used to specify which events constitute a hiring, termination, etc. event. It is therefore advisable start the report using variants that reflect the characteristic of any given installa- tion. A sample variant, SAP_DEFAULT, has been predefined. Voraussetzungen In order for this report to deliver accurate results, it is important to carefully set the SELECT-OPTIONS for hirings, terminations, etc. to reflect the corresponding events at a given installation. Ausgabe NOTES:

  • Turnover Rate: The turnover rate is determined by dividing the number of events that result in a person leaving an organizational unit by the beginning count of that unit. If the beginning count is 0, the turnover rate is 0.

  • Percent Minority Turnover Rate: This rate is determined by subtrac- ting the overall turnover rate from the minority turnover rate per organizational unit. If this number is positive, the minority turn- over rate exceeds the overall turnover rate. The following Select-Options and Parameters influence the output of the report: Select-Options:

  • Hiring - Events: (PA_HIREM) Specifies which events constitute a hiring/rehiring event.

  • Hiring - Reasons: (PA_HIREG) Allows further specification of hiring events.

  • Termination - Events: (PA_TERMM) Specifies which events constitute a termination.

  • Termination - Reasons: (PA_TERMG) Allows further specification of termination events.

  • Retiring - Events: (PA_RET_M) Specifies which events constitute a retiring event.

  • Retiring - Reasons: (PA_RET_G) Allows further specification of re- tiring events.

  • Transfer - Events: (PA_TRANM) Specifies which events constitute a transfer event.

  • Transfer - Reasons: (PA_TRANG) Allows further specification of transfer events. Parameters: (Checkboxes)

  • Print Name List: (PA_NLIST) Lets users select whether a detailed list with employees per event should be printed after the statistic.

  • Statistic Only By Org. Unit: (PA_OONLY) Checking this parameter will cause the report to accumulate the statistic by org. units only. Other levels of control such as company or plant will not be displayed. This will allow analysis of org. units that span more than one plant section.

  • Minority Analysis: (PA_MINOR) If this checkbox is checked (default), an movement analysis of minority members will be performed for each organizational unit. Minority movement numbers will be displayed directly below the total movements per unit. A third line with the percentage of minority movements compared to total movements will also be printed.

  • Caucasian Categories: (PA_WHITE) !!!This is a hidden parameter!!! It contains the string TEXT-PA4 (Text Elements) which is equi- valent to the default code for caucasian ethnic origin in table T505R. Should the codes in T505R be modified, TEXT-PA4 will have to be modified accordingly. If in an installation W1 and W2 are the codes for caucasian employees, TEXT-PA4 would have to be set to 'W1,W2'. In the report, minority employees are identified by checking whether their ethnic origin code (P0077-RACKY) not contained in PA_WHITE.
