This function is one of several functions to maintain modified requirement groups (BED_GRU).

This function returns an entry of the list. If the parameter FIRST_OBJECT is set to 'X', the first entry in the list will be returned. The following calls of the function without FIRST_OBJECT will return one entry after the other until the last entry is red.
