Gets the start date and the finish date of a period of the specified type (look at the documentation of parameter PERIOD_TYPE for a list of valid period types).

If you want to use period type E (posting period) the parameter FISCAL_YEAR_VARIANT is necessary. For the period type B (Factory calendar day) the parameter CALENDAR_ID is necessary.
