ISH_READ_NBEW_LAST - ISH : To read the last movement from the NBEW table

Funktionalität

This function module determines the last movement that is the latest movement for a case and optionally the speciality related to the particular case.

If the case type is Inpatient or Observation cases then leave of absence and the outpatient visit movements are not taken into consideration. Only the inpatient movements like admission, transfer and discharge are considered. If the case type is Outpatient the last visit of the outpatient is considered as the last movement.

Depending on the parameter only_actual_movements , is set to 'ON' then only the actual movements are considered Planned movements are considered if the parameter is set to off in any of the case types (Inpatient, Outpatient , Observation types ).

Depending on the setting of the speciality parameter the latest movement's organisational unit is taken into consideration to determine the organisational speciality for the case.

Depending on the setting of the read_physician parameter the attending physician for the movement is determined. For inpatient cases if the last read movement is a Discharge then the Physican of the earlier last movement either an Admission or a Transfer physician is taken into account. For an outpatient the last vist's attending physician is only considered.
