:T ISDN D-Channel local end code violations exceeded guideline of &2.

Cause . . . . . : The number of local end code violations has exceeded the threshold value given by the system. One of the following may have caused the problem:
-- The environment may be electrically noisy.
-- The ISDN line quality may be poor.
-- Contact problems with the ISDN cable connectors.
-- Improper termination of the ISDN cables.
-- The remote physical interface is failing.
Recovery . . . : Your physical line may or may not be operational. Refer to planning guides for information about electrical requirements and noise problem considerations. Check that the correct cable part number is installed. Check that the cable is securely connected to the appropriate receptacles and the cable is in good physical condition. Consult your local ISDN network provider to have the line tested to verify line quality. To reduce the frequency of reports, the CDEERRTE and THRESHOLD values in the network interface command can be changed, using CHGNWIISDN command.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The following table shows the network interface (NWI) identifier, maximum rate of local end code violations (errors per 15 minutes), the number of intervals that had a rate above the guideline, and the date and time the maximum rate occurred.

A sufficient number of local end code violations have occurred to cause the error counter to exceed the threshold limit. The local end code violation counter is incremented each time a code violation is detected at the local physical interface. An overflow of this counter value indicates a significant degradation in line quality.
