:T ISDN far end code violations exceeded guideline of &2.

Cause . . . . . : The number of far end code violations has exceeded the threshold value given by the system. One of the following may have caused the problem:
-- The environment may be electrically noisy.
-- The ISDN line quality may be poor.
-- Improper termination of the ISDN cables.
-- The remote physical interface is failing.
Recovery . . . : Your physical line may or may not be operational. Refer to planning guides for information about electrical requirements and noise problem considerations. Check that the correct cable part number is installed. Check that the cable is securely connected to the appropriate receptacles and the cable is in good physical condition. Consult your local ISDN network provider to have the line tested to verify line quality. To reduce the frequency of reports, the CDEERRNT and THRESHOLD values on the network interface can be changed using the CRTNWIISDN command.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The following table shows the network interface (NWI) identifier, maximum rate of far end code violations (errors per 15 minutes), the number of intervals that had a rate above the guideline, and the date and time the maximum rate occurred.

A sufficient number of code violations have been detected at the far end to cause the error counter to exceed the threshold limit. The far end code violation error counter is incremented each time a code violation is detected by the far end at the physical interface. An overflow of this counter value indicates a significant degradation in line quality.
