You may find more information in the Lock Report of the Performance Tools (use the print option from the STRPFRT menu or use the PRTLCKRPT command). Look for the objects held and the seize/lock times. Use the transition report (use the print option from the STRPFRT menu or use the PRTTNSRPT command and specify RPTTYPE(*TRSIT)) for the time around the seize or lock to determine all the activity occurring between the seize/release or the lock/unlock. Look for long waits, error handling, the holder of the lock, priority of the holder, CPU utilization at the time of the seize or lock conflict and other unusual activity. Use the transaction start times listed in the table below.
