Report Writer: Copying Report Groups and Sets From Other Clients

Beschreibung

You can now copy report groups and sets from a source client into the current client within an SAP System.

You also have the option to copy all dependent objects analogous to the previous export/import functionality.

The following programs are delivered:

RGRJTF00 - Copying report groups
RGSSTF00 - Copying sets or hierarchies

You can also access these programs as follows:
Menu 'Utilities' -> 'Transport' -> 'Copy from client' (transaction Execute Report Group)
Menu 'Environment' -> 'Transport' -> 'Copy from client' (transaction Display Set)

You need the following authorizations for the execution:

  • Create report group (authorization 'G_803J_GJB') or create set (authorization 'G_800S_GSE')
  • Maintaining tables for all clients ('S_TABU_CLI')

When copying sets, an additional check is performed to see whether the set to be copied is a standard cost center hierarchy (table CCSS). If so, you are asked online in a dialog box whether the hierarchy should be replaced. In the background, a warning is output in this case, and the hierarchy is not replaced.
