Report Writer: New user interface for the report definition

Beschreibung

For the present release, the transaction for defining the report has been adapted to the new graphical user interface. This affects the screens for the header, rows, columns, data selection, cells, texts, and formula lines.

Graphical elements are now supported in the above screens: frames, radio buttons, check boxes and pushbuttons.

Änderungen in der Vorgehensweise

The two screens for entering dimension-specific settings for rows or columns have been laid out more clearly:

  • The settings for one dimension only are displayed on the screen. You can scroll between the dimensions using the function keys.
  • You now enter a second area for the totals display in a pop-up window. You branch to this popup using a pushbutton (Additional...).
  • For highlighting row totals, you can now specify one of seven colors.
