Sets: Copying sets for other tables
Beschreibung
The functionality of the ABAP program RGSCPY00 for copying sets or set hierarchies between different tables has been extended to include the following functions:
- When calling up the report once, several sets or set hierarchies can now be copied since a value set can be specified on the initial screen for the name of the set to be copied.
- Copying does no longer require that there is a field with the same data element in the target table for the field of the copied set. Instead, a value set can be specified for the target field. The allocation of a copied set to a field of the target table is carried out automatically within this value set. Table fields with the same data element still have priority so that existing field assignments remain in all important cases. When in doubt, you can carry out copying first without data base change (that is, only as a test run) and view the result of the automatic field assignment in the output list.
- The groups (nodes) of the standard cost center hierarchies are now protected against overwriting.
