Payroll: Automatic yearly wage calculation (Jaarloon BT)

Beschreibung

The yearly wage, on which tax percentages and 'overhevelingstoeslag' for special rewards is based, is now calculated automatically, both for new employees and employees who joined the company in the current payroll-year. Every period in which a special wage is assigned to an employee who belongs to this category the yearly wage special wages is calculated.

In order to be able to calculate the yearly wage one has to classify wage types as belonging to normal wages (holiday allowance, 13th month) or should be considered as exceptional wages (bonuses). This is done by using processing class Niet in jaarloon verdisconteerd BB (26) and the constant JLCON in the table for payroll constants (T511K). The cycles NJR0 Niet in jaarloon verdisconteerd BB and NJR1 Verhouding Niet verdisconteerd BB/ Totaal BB are used to determine the percentage of the wages assigned in that particular period that should be added separately to the yearly wage.

In a number of steps the yearly wage is determined:

  1. Add Basis OT cumulative (/401) of the past periods:
Yearly wage = cumulative Basis OT
  2. Add Basis OT (/401) of the current period:
Yearly wage = Yearly wage + Basis OT current period
  3. Add basis OT for future periods: The wage type Basis OT /401 is the basis of the wages for the future periods:
Yearly wage = Yearly wage + ( Basis OT * number of future periods)
  4. Correct the yearly wage for the number of periods the employee has not been in service. The tax office assumes that an employee who joined during the current payroll year, has earned a similar wage at his previous employer. The wage he has earned at his previous employer should be taken into consideration.
Yearly wage = Yearly wage * ( Number of periods in payroll year /
    number of periods in service).
  5. Multiply the yearwage by the constant JLCON from the table for payroll constants (T511K). This constant represents the factor the yearwage has to be multiplied by to approximate the salary for the whole year including special wages like holiday allowance.
Yearly wage = Yearly wage * JLCON
  6. Add the cumulative special wages that are not included in the yearwage by the constant JLCON like bonuses. The rule NJR0 and NJR1 are used to determine the amount of special wages that are not represented by the JLCON and should be added separately to the yearwage. These special wages are cumulated over the year in wage type Basis OT BB niet in JL (/409).
Yearly wage = Yearly wage + cumulative Basis OT BB niet in JL + Basis OT BB niet in JL current period.
  7. Add the Overhevelingstoeslag keeping in mind Berekeningstabel of the employee and the fact that Overhevelingstoeslag is maximised in the year.
Yearly wage = Yearly wage + OT.

Every period special wage is assigned the yearly wage will be calculated.

However, it is still possible to enter the yearly wage manually in infotype Loonheffing NL (0060) as well, in which case the payrollprogram will use this manually entered yearwage.

Automatic calculated yearly wages are stored in the technical wagetype '/433' and can be transferred to infotype Loonheffing NL (0060) with the report "Batchinput voor initialisatie infotype Loonheffing".
