In this step, you set up ETP (eligible termination payment) wage types used to calculate the lump sum D value.

Eligible termination payments are paid out on redundancy, but not on resignation.

The R/3 System contains the following sample SAP wage type:
Standard ETP for redundancies

To define ETP wage types for calculating lump sum D, you:

  1. Choose New entries.
    You are now in the screen Details of created entries.
  2. Enter a redundancy model.
  3. Enter the start and end dates of the validity period.
  4. Enter the wage type that is to be included in the ETP calculation.
  5. If the wage type is to be accumulated in lump sum D, flag the field Lump Sum D.
  6. If the wage type is an invalidity payment wage type, flag the field Invalidity Payment.
  7. Choose Save.
