In this step, you set up additional information required to pay leave
on termination.

The information entered for each leave type is used to:

o Define which part of the leave is paid out (the entitlement, accrual
or both)

o Define whether leave loading is paid out

o Define the minimum number of years an employee must work before
leave is paid out

The R/3 System contains the following sample SAP wage type:
Standard Leave for redundancies.

To set up additional information required to pay leave on termination,
you:

  1. Choose New entries.
    You are now in the screen Details of created entries.
  2. Enter the redundancy model.
  3. Enter the personnel subarea grouping.
  4. Enter a leave type.
  5. Enter the start and end dates of the validity period.
  6. If you want to pay out the entitlement portion of the leave type, flag the field Pay entitlement.
  7. If you want to pay leave loading on the entitlement portion, flag the field Pay loading on entitlement.
  8. If you want to pay out the accrual portion of the leave type, flag the field Pay accrual.
  9. If you want to pay leave loading on the accrual portion, flag the field Pay loading on accrual.
  10. If the entitlement is less than 0 and you do not want to pay the entitlement, flag the field No accrual if ent.<0.
  11. If required, enter the maximum number of continuous years the employee must have worked before the leave type is paid on termination.
    If you do not want to check the length of service before paying the leave type, leave the field Max. contin. yrs blank.
  12. Enter the leave wage type.
  13. If required, enter the leave loading percentage.
  14. If required, enter the leave loading wage type.
  15. Choose Save.
