In this step, you can define the unit amount per point for Point Base retirement allowance amount calculation. The following three steps must be performd;

  • Define retirement allowance unit amount modifier.
  • Define retirement allowance unit amount per point.
  • Assign retirement allowance unit modifier per personnel area and personnel subarea.

The unit amount per point is defined for the unit amount modifier which in turn assigned to presonnel area and personnel subarea combination.

For presonnel area JP001a and subarea 0001, unit amount modifier 01 is defined and its unit amount is 10,000 YEN.

SAP's sample unit amount modifier and this unit amount is defined. And unit amount modifier is assigned to sample personnel area and subarea.

  1. Define retirement allowance unit amount modifier ID and its text.
  2. Define retirement allowance unit amount for each unit amount modifier with validity period.
  3. Assign unit amount modifier to personnel area and subarea combination.
    When you assign unnit amount modifier, you MUST also specify retirement calculation pattern "3" (Based on Point).
