ABENCDS_CALC_QUAN - CDS CALC QUAN

- Amounts and Quantities

In ABAP CDS, a special handling for amounts and quantities is implemented. ABAP CDS amount fields and ABAP CDS quantity fields are similar to DDIC currency fields and DDIC quantity fields, but more data types are possible.

In CDS view entities, the currency key/ unit key reference is considered in expressions, comparisons, UNION views, and INTERSECT views. Moreover, a special data type is available: the calculated quantity with calculated unit reference.
