Title

Material Master SD AFS Data Migration.

Purpose

Prior to Release 3.0, the material master for SD AFS data was stored in table J_3AMAD, which is maintained at plant level. However, SD AFS data must be maintained at the sales organization and distribution channel level. Therefore the data must be transferred from the old table (J_3AMAD) to the new table (/AFS/MVKE).

You can run the report for combinations of more than one material and plant.

You can also run the report either in simulation or update mode.

Standard Variants

Output

The report shows the data that must be transferred, and the data that has been transferred from table J_3AMAD to table /AFS/MVKE. If the data already exists in table /AFS/MVKE, it is not listed in the report. If a record with same key combination exists in the two tables but the values are different, then that record is highlighted in red and it is not updated in the table.

Special Case:

If a material is maintained in more than one plant, it is possible to have the same key record (that is, the same sales organization and distribution channel) with different plants. This leads to redundant data; If that record differs from the other plants, it is highlighted red. Otherwise the report displays only one record.
