/AIF/RFC_LIST_GENERATOR - Mass Function Module Generator

Purpose

You use this report for mass generation of objects and Customizing entries based on a list of RFC function modules.

This report provides the same basic functions and features as the Function Module Generator report.

Integration

If you execute the selection screen of the Mass Function Module Generator report, the system calls the Function Module Generator report (transaction: /AIF/RFC_FUNC_GEN) in a second step. You can now specify the function module names.

Prerequisites

Before you can execute the Mass Function Module Generator report, you have to maintain an RFC Function Module Collection in Customizing for the SAP Application Interface Framework under Interface Development -> Additional Interface Properties -> Define RFC Function Module Collection.

Features

Selection

You can enter an RFC Function Module Collection on the selection screen. Based on your input, the corresponding function modules from the RFC Function Module Collection are selected and displayed on the next screen.

In addition, you can enter some generic data that stays the same for all the objects that are to be generated by the report (for example, transport request, prefix, and so on).

Standard Variants

Output

Depending on the RFC Function Module Collection, the function modules maintained in Customizing activity Define RFC Function Module Collection are displayed in a list.

In addition, some fields in this list are filled automatically, if they have been maintained accordingly in Customizing activity Define RFC Function Module Collection.

You can also see that the generic data that you entered on the selection screen has been taken over to the corresponding fields of this list.

After you have checked that all the fields are filled correctly, select the function modules that you want to generate. You do this by selecting the relevant lines in the list and then choose Execute. This triggers jobs to generate the selected function modules, structures, interfaces, and so on.

Activities

To access this report, enter transaction /AIF/RFC_MASS_GEN.
