Purpose

To allow users to delete notification metadata and data explicitly in cache cleanup report

Clear Metadata Cache:

This clears all notification metadata, which includes notification type texts and action texts so that the latest values can be fetched from notification provider during callback. The admin can clear the metadata in two ways:

1.,,via BEP

Case 1:

If notification typekey is provided and the version value is passed as '*' then all versions of the passed typekey are deleted.

Case 2:

If notification typekey is provided and version value is also given (e.g. " " (blank), 1, 2, 3, and so on), then entry with the given version is deleted for the passed typekey.

Note that here " " (blank) is treated as a character.

Case 3:

If both typekey and version are not provided, then all unused notification types, type texts, and their dependent entities including notification action, action texts, and notification user settings are deleted. In addition to it, notification type texts and action texts are cleared completely.

2.,,via HUB

Clearing the metadata cache via HUB clears all unused notification types (including notification action and notification user settings) and clears the text tables completely, as there is no provision to import the typekey and version specific to a provider.

Clear Data Cache

This clears the notification properties applied to templates and encrypted secure notification properties so that the latest values can be fetched from notification provider during callback.
