Purpose

You use this report to search for messages in the technical log and the functional log that the system records in the business application log (BAL).

Integration

Prerequisites

You have checked the settings for message recording in customizing for Advanced Payment Management under Logs -> Message Customizing for Functional Log.

Features

Selection

• You can search for messages in the business application log (BAL) by entering the following filter criteria.

• Log date

• Log time

• User

• Transaction

• Program

• You can search for a specific message, for example, a message that is recorded in the technical log, by entering a specific message class or a message number.

Standard Variants

Output

The system generates a list of logs based on the selection criteria you entered. You can display details about each log. When you choose a log, the corresponding message text is displayed. For each message text, you can also display process information and technical information.
