/RPM/REMOVE_CH_ASSOC_WITH_VERS - Remove Association Between Version and Classification Hierarchy Bucket

Purpose

You use this report when you attempt to delete a classification hierarchy bucket and you are cannot because of an error. If you encounter one of the following error messages, you can execute this report to remove the bucket association with an item or initiative version.

• Deletion of the object not possible as item versions are associated with it. Execute report /RPM/REMOVE_CH_ASSOC_WITH_VERS.

• Deletion of the object not possible as initiative versions are associated with it. Execute report /RPM/REMOVE_CH_ASSOC_WITH_VERS.

Caution: You should only use this report if you encounter one of these two error messages.

Integration

Prerequisites

You encounter one of the errors listed above when you try to delete a classification hierarchy bucket. These errors occur when the bucket you are trying to delete has an item or initiative assigned to it.

Features

Selection

To run the report, you select an Execution Option.

• Display Association: You select this option to see the versions assigned to the inputted bucket in an ALV table. The ALV table contains the following information:

• Version ID: Displays the version ID

• Object External ID: Displays the original object of this version (item external ID or initiative external ID)

• Object Type: Displays the type of the original object (item or initiative)

• Fin %: Displays the financial breakdown assigned to this bucket

• Cap %: Displays the capacity breakdown assigned to this bucket

• Remove Association (Test Mode): You select this option to execute a simulation run. You use this function to check to see errors will occur during the execution of the report.

• Remove Association: You select this option to execute a production run of this report.

In the Classification Hierarchy Bucket Selection, enter the Classification Hierarchy ID followed by the Hierarchy Bucket ID for the bucket where you need to remove the association with an item or initiative version.
