/SALM/CSOL_CHECK - ChaRM CSOL Check Report

Purpose

This report check for CSOL conflicts between two transport sets.

The main use case is to identify the CSOL conflicts between an implementation project and the maintenance track, before the implementation project is imported into the maintenance track (cutover). All transport requests with conflicts in the maintenance track must be processed before the cutover can be done.

The report can also be used to identify conflicts before a retrofit is done, or to identify conflicts within the same or within different projects.

Integration

The report is a stand-alone functionality. But only transport requests that have CSOL entries are considered.

Prerequisites

The transport requests must be known in Solution Manager and have to be assigned to a valid task list.

Selection

Transport Requests to be Checked:

Tasklist: Tasklist to be imported

Import Target System/Client: System/Client in which the tasklist shall be imported

Freely Selected Transport Requests: Alternatively a list of freely selected transport requests can be entered for checking

Reference Transport Requests for Comparison

Select by Development System/Client: All CSOL locks for transport requests from this development system will be compared

Select by Tasklist: All CSOL locks for this tasklist will be compared

Select by Production System/Client: All CSOL locks for transport requests for this production system will be compared

Output Options

Clean table /SALM/CSOLCHKRES: If this option is flagged the table /SALM/CSOLCHKRES is deleted before the results from the current check run are entered

Output

If the execution is done in dialog mode the output will appear on the screen.

If the execution is done in batch mode the output can be found in the job log.

In addition the output is entered into the database table /SALM/CSOLCHKRES.

Activities

Provide the necessary parameters on the selection screen and execute the report.
