Purpose

This report extracts statistical Focused Build related data, which are displayed in the Solution Readiness Dashboard, the Release Dashboard, the Change Request Management Dashboard and the Documentation Reporting Dashboard.

Prerequisites

For all dashboards Focused Build must be configured.

Selection Screen

On the selection screen, you can restrict the data that is extracted, using the following options:

  • General Settings
  • Focused Build Data:
    If selected, the Transactions Types, which are shipped with Focused Build will be extracted to be used in Solution Readiness and Release Dashboard.

  • Change Request Management Data:
    If selected, all Transactions Types not part of Focused Build will be extracted to be used in Change Request Management Dashboard.

  • Documentation Reporting Data:
    If selected, all Solution Documentation data will be extracted to be used in the Documentation Reporting Dashboard. This requires extraction of Focused Build Data to be selected as well.

  • Extraction Method
  • Extract from last succ ext:
    Changes only since last successful extraction. Unchanged data, that has been already extracted, is not extracted again. This should always be used in your regular job.

    When this flag is switched of, you can rebuild extractor data from scratch. This might be useful, if you have observed data inconsistencies in the extractor data.

  • This setting is not relevant for Documentation Reporting data. That data will always be extracted completely, except data for solutions which are maintained on the blacklist.

  • Focused Build Project Selection
  • Project and Status:
    Reduce project data to be extracted by providing Project Status. Default: All Projects with Status Created or Released.

  • Solution Documentation Settings
  • Use Embedded Search:
    Speed up extraction of Documentation Reporting data by using embedded search. If selected, there will be a small latency, very recent data updates may not be reflected in extracted data.

  • Excluded Solutions:
    Speed up extraction and reduce data volume of Documentation Reporting data by excluding solution landscapes for which you do not use the Documentation Reporting Dashboard.

  • Runtime Settings
  • Multi process mode:
    The extraction is processed in multiple work processes to speed up runtime.

  • Maximum Work Processes allowed:
    Number of maximum Work Processes to be used for extraction. In any case not more than 50% of the available work processes in the system are used.

Related Reports

The report /SALM/DATA_EXTRACTION_DELETE can be used to compress and delete the data, which are created with report /SALM/DATA_EXTRACTION_PPMITSM.
