Integration

Prerequisites

Features

  • Checks concerning the general setup of SPP
  • Checks on products, locations and location products

You can run the configuration checks in different areas of SPP individually or simultaneously.

Output

Activities

You can execute the consistency checks in one of the following ways:

  • Using this transaction
This transaction contains all of the consistency checks in all areas of SPP mentioned above.
  • Through a Planning Service Manager (PSM) service
The PSM service is intended for mass data checks, for example, after the initial system setup with hundreds or thousands of new products. The PSM job contains the consistency checks listed above except for general SPP checks and location-specific checks.

Once you have run the consistency checks, the system returns a number of messages letting you know if there are errors in the configuration of SPP, and what you should do to correct those errors.

Some of the messages contain references to Customizing activities. You can navigate to the relevant Customizing activity in the following ways:

  • If you display the message long text in the Performance Assistant, you choose the pushbutton with the quick info text Customizing.
  • If you display the message long text in the modal dialog box, you choose the pushbutton with the quick info text Maintain Entries.
