Purpose

You can use this report to check Customizing settings for freight unit building where TM is integrated with the internal S/4 HANA Logistics component.

You can use it, for example, to check the settings prior to creating a document or to investigate in cases where expected TM planning documents such as freight unit type (FU), transportation unit type (TU) or freight order type (TO) have not been built.

If the report finds that no TM documents have been created, you can get further help by selecting the relevant message to view additional information or directly open the relevant customizing activity or transaction.

If the report finds that TM documents have been created, it compares these objects with the transient transportation request, based on the underlying logistics document.

The report checks Customizing settings for:

  • the Logical System and Business System Group
  • one-time locations
  • BGRFC queue and connection

For each document type (sales order, purchase order or inbound/outbound delivery) the system:

  • checks Customizing settings
  • checks master data
  • verifies if TM documents have been built

If TM documents have been built, the report compares these objects with the transient transportation request based on the underlying Logistics document. It compares values for:

  • Weight, volume and quantities
  • Additional fields like source or destination location, consignee, Logistics plant, dangerous goods indicator

You enter the following selection criteria:

  • Document type
  • Document ID
  • Logging Level (Normal or Detail)

Output

The report provides system messages that list:

  • Customizing settings that are correct
  • Customizing settings that are missing or contain errors
  • Causes that prevented TM documents being built
  • Master data that is incomplete
  • Comparison of transient TRQ fields and TM document fields
