Purpose

You can use this migration report for system upgrades to SAP S/4HANA 1909 and higher. It improves the information displayed in the stage lists of the transportation cockpit.

The report changes the following database table: TOR Summary Report (/SCMTMS/D_TORSUM).

TOR summary report information is available to allow fast access to aggregated item information. The following data is available:

  • Item category
  • Length, width, and height
  • Amounts
  • Product information
  • Package information
  • Transportation unit resource
  • Equipment group and type
  • Overdimensional cargo
  • Incoterms

The following logic applies for this information:

  • If item information such as product information is unique for the TOR document, the summary report information contains this unique value.
  • If the item information is not unique (for example, various products belong to the same TOR document), the summary report information contains the value Multiple.
  • If no item information is available (for example, no product information is available for a TOR document), the summary report information is empty.

In addition, some new fields have been introduced for the /SCMTMS/D_TORITE, /SCMTMS/D_TORSUM, and /SCMTMS/D_TORROT database tables. The following new fields (and dependent fields) are filled with this report:

  • /SCMTMS/D_TORITE (database table for TOR item):
  • FIX_CAPA_ASSGN_REQ_TOR

Fixation indicator that is set for package items or product items depending on their load plan status.
  • CLOSED_PM

Closed packaging indicator that is set for package items from the material master of the packaging material.
  • GRO_VOL_VALCAP, GRO_VOL_UNICAP, GRO_WEI_VALCAP, GRO_WEI_UNICAP

Volume and weight capacities derived from the material master of the packaging material.
  • OUT_VOL_VAL, OUT_VOL_UNI

Outer volume and subsequent aggregation to tare volume and gross volume, also to parent items.
  • /SCMTMS/D_TORSUM (database table for TOR SUMMARY_REPORT):
  • PACKAGING_STATUS

Aggregated load plan status (packaging) for TOR documents.
  • NO_PKG_UNPLN_CARGO_ITEMS

Packaging: number of unplanned/invalidated cargo items.
  • NO_PKG_NOTFIN_CAPA_ITEMS

Packaging: number of capacity items that are not finalized.
  • /SCMTMS/D_TORROT (database table for TOR root):
  • OUT_VOL_VAL, OUT_VOL_UNI

Outer volume determined from outer volumes of TOR items.
  • LSO_UNPL_ITEMS

Load planning: number of unplanned items.
  • LOAD_PLAN_STATUS

Load plan status (depending on load plan status of TOR items).

Features

Selection

You have the following selection options:

  • To get an overview of how many database updates will be done, you can run the report in simulation mode.
  • You can control the number of selected TOR documents using the following selection parameters:
  • Document Type

  • Docs Pack. Build. Enabled Only

You can specify if the system processes only documents that are enabled for package building or only documents that are not enabled.
  • Open Documents Only

You can specify if the system processes only open documents or all documents.
  • You can run the report for defined system clients only. If you don't define a client, the report processes all available system clients.
  • You can specify a server group and a maximum number of work processes. The system then uses multiple work process instances for migration.
