/SCWM/R_RACK_GEN - Create HU from Structure Template

Purpose

You can use this report to generate handling units (HUs) as follows:

• Create HUs based on HU structure templates at the highest level

• Create nested HUs based on the sub-packaging material defined in the hierarchy of HU structure templates and pack them into their parent HUs

Prerequisites

• You have defined HU structure templates in the /SCWM/R_RACKTYPEreport.

• You have maintained a warehouse process type for repacking in Customizing for Extended Warehouse Managementunder Master Data-> Define Warehouse Number Control.

Features

Selection

• Specify the warehouse number for which you want to create the HU.

• Specify the packaging material defined in an HU structure template at the highest level.

• Specify a suitable storage bin.

• You can create HUs at the highest level by specifying one of the following:

• The number of HUs to be created with an internal identification number

• Multiple external identification numbers

• An external identification number which has a prefix and is drawn from your own number range

• You can select the Show Structurecheckbox to view the detailed structure of an HU as an ALV tree structure.

Output

The highest-level HUs that are created are displayed either in an ALV list or as an ALV tree structure.
