Purpose

You can use this report to generate a warehouse billing measurement. The system uses the warehouse billing measurement to calculate quantity for a warehouse service. You can then send this quantity to the agreement and billing management system for charge calculation.

Integration

Prerequisites

The system determines the billing period from the WBMR that the system automatically creates in the SAP Extended Warehouse Management system from the external agreement management system. The agreement information from the external agreement management system contains the billing period. You can specify the billing calendar in the WBMR in the Warehouse Management Monitor under Billing-> Measurement Request.

Activities

You specify the following, for example:

  • Warehouse number
  • Request for warehouse billing measurement (WBMR)
  • Generation period
For example, you can specify that the period is from the last 100 days to the last 10 days, or you can specify the from and to dates.
Note that the system generates one warehouse billing measurement for every billing period in the corresponding WBMR. For example, if you have specified a period from 01.04.2015 to 13.07.2015 and the billing period for the WBMR is monthly, the system generates 4 warehouse billing measurements. If the billing period is biweekly, the system generates 8 warehouse billing measurements.
  • Simulation
The system executes the warehouse billing measurement generation in simulation mode. The system displays the results without creating an actual warehouse billing measurement.
  • Partial billing period
The system generates a warehouse billing measurement for those periods that do not cover the whole billing period, such as, when the validity of a WBMR does not cover the entire billing period. For example, the validity of the WBRM is from 15.4.2015 to 31.7.2015 and the billing period is from the first of every month to the end of the month. If you select this checkbox, the system creates a warehouse billing measurement for the partial period from 15.04.2015 to 30.04.2015.
  • Redo
The system generates a warehouse billing measurement without considering if a warehouse billing measurement has already been generated for the billing period.

You can view detailed execution result in the application log in transaction SLG1. To do this, you can search the external id with the syntax WAREHOUSE_BILLING_MEASUREMENT.
