/SDF/OBJ_TR_COMP - Compare Objects and Transport Requests

Purpose

This report compares a set of objects between two systems. For each object it shows if the versions are equal, different or cannot be compared. It also shows the last transport request by which the objects were changed in each system.

Integration

The report does not work for customizing entries. Customizing entries are not shown in the result screen. R3TR objects are resolved and shown as sub objects in the result screen. A version comparison can only be done for versionable objects.

Prerequisites

RFC connections to both systems must be provided. If you run the report in the SAP Solution Manager, you can use the standard READ RFC connections to the managed systems. You can use NONE if you want to compare transport requests in the local system.

Selection

The objects to be compared can be selected by transport requests / piecelists, packages, or by object names.

Output

The output shows the selected objects together with their devclasses and the last transport request in each system.

The column OBJSTAT shows if the object versions are equal, different or cannot be compared between the two systems.

The column TRSTAT shows if the objects were changed by the same last transport request in both systems.

The column STATUS shows an overall status. It is green, if the object versions are equal, or if an object compare is not possible, but the objects were changed by the same last transport. If the object versions are different or cannot be compared and the last transports are different, then the status is yellow. If the object versions are different, but the last transports are the same, the status is red. This should normally not happen.
