Standard Variants

Output

In case that changes can be executed, a list of Scope Items with Building Blocks are shown. Column Rel. Seq. indicate the sequence of building blocks.

In case of an error, the application log is shown (Object /SMB/, Sub object COPY_BB_SPLIT).

The application is saved in case of an update.

Activities

Select whether you want to process Global (XX) or Country-specific Building Blocks.

In case of Country-specific Building Blocks you enter a country key.

You may restrict the processed Scope Items via parameter Solution.

Provide the ID of the Split-Up Building Block and select the suffix. You can select '_CE' (Cloud Edition) or '_OP' (On Premise).

Provide the IDs of the resulting Building Blocks and select their suffix.

Set indicator Simulation when the result of changes shall not be saved.

After execution, you can check the result and the application log.

Example

You have selected Country with Target Language US.

You have entered Split-Up Building Block ABC.

You have entered Building Block #1 DEF with suffix Cloud Edition.

You have set indicator Simulation.

When you execute the report, the system selects all Scope Items that have Spilt-Up Building Block with ID 'ABC (US)'. Afterwards all Building Blocks with ID 'DEF (US)_CE' are removed from the Scope Item. Then Building Block 'DEF (US)_CE' is inserted after Building Block with ID 'ABC (US)'. Finally, the result is shown as a list. As indicator Simulation was set, no changes are saved.
