Purpose

This report can be used to delete versions from the Exposure file repository.

It can either run in Automatic Mode, in Manual Mode or be used to Clear Complete Content.

Automatic Mode:

This is the default mode. It uses the FLP setting EXPOSURE_REPOSITORY_EXPIRATION_DAYS to determine which versions should be deleted from the Exposure file repository and is scheduled after each run of the Exposure. To deactivate the automatic cleanup you may change the FLP setting EXPOSURE_REPOSITORY_EXPIRATION_DAYS to 0.

The automatic mode keeps at least 10 versions to enable the delta feature of the exposed content.

Manual Mode:

In the manual mode you can select explicit versions to be deleted manually.

Clear Complete Content:

This mode deletes the complete content from the Exposure file repository.

Integration

Prerequisites

Set a value for the FLP setting EXPOSURE_REPOSITORY_EXPIRATION_DAYSto determine the time after how many days a version should be removed from the repository. The default value is 100 days.

Features

Selection

Automatic Mode:

By executing this option, the versions will be deleted according to the FLP setting EXPOSURE_REPOSITORY_EXPIRATION_DAYS.

Manual Mode:

Select a range by selecting a version in "Version from" as well as "Version to", to manually delete all versions in that range. "Version from" is the (including) starting point and "Version to" is the (including) end point of the deletion.

When you only select "Version from" the value for "Version to" will be automatically filled with (including) the latest version.

When you only select "Version to" the value for "Version from" will be automatically filled with (including) the oldest version.

When you want to delete one version only, you must select this version in both "Version from" and "Version to".

Clear Complete Content:

This mode deletes the complete content from the Exposure file repository.

Test Mode:

When the flag for "Test Mode" is active, you will only see the output and no versions will be deleted.

In case when the current version is deleted, a content change notification is being sent to all configured content consumers.

Standard Variants

Output

A list with all deleted version will be displayed and logged in the application log.
