/UI2/DELETE_APP_DESCR_CATS - Delete Replicated Catalogs for a Replication System Alias

Purpose

The report offers the following features:

·,,Remove all replicated back-end technical catalogs for a given replication alias from the system.

·,,Remove single replicated technical catalogs for a given catalog ID from a selected replication system alias.

Re-replicating the catalog using report /UI2/GET_APP_DESCR_REMOTE_ALL or /UI2/GET_APP_DESCR_REMOTE will align the replicated content with the source content.

Running this report may result in broken links in the SAP Fiori content ("Reference Lost" errors).
Note that replication is a client-neutral process and deletion will affect all clients as catalogs are replicated and deleted from the CONF layer.

Integration

Prerequisites

The replication system alias is maintained in /UI2/V_SYSALIAS or /UI2/VC_SYSALIAS.

Note that the entered alias name is used for the selection of the catalogs in the local system.
No communication with the back-end system is required.

Features

Selection

Enter the replication system alias referring to the back-end system of the catalog you want to delete. This function deletes all replicated catalogs of the system alias.

Optional: You can delete single replicated catalogs by specifying the corresponding catalog ID or by using multiple selection options, such as specifying a range.
