/UI2/PAGE_CACHE_CREATE - Create Page Cache

Purpose

Report creates page cache tables for Configuration (cross-client) and Customizing (client-dependent) layer, for all languages in the system.

Use case: support / troubleshooting

Integration

Prerequisites

• Creation of the page cache only works if the page cache is inactive. This can be achieved by running report /UI2/PAGE_CACHE_RESET.

• If the Page Cache is active, the report /UI2/PAGE_CACHE_CREATE does not do anything.

• The report needs to lock the page cache, it exits if another lock is set. This indicates that another job is creating the cache or a cacheable entity is changed.
