ABAP_DOCU_CONFIG - Configure ABAP Keyword Documentation

Purpose

Maintain entries in customizing table ABDOCCONFIG.

Integration

The program can be called by transaction code ABAP_DOCU_CONFIG.

The program calls function module ABAP_DOCU_CONFIG.

Prerequisites

Access authorization for database table ABDOCCONFIG.

Maintenance of ABDOCCONFIG is not allowed during an upgrade.

Features

Function module ABAP_DOCU_CONFIG is called in different ways.

Selection

• Display

You can display the current configuration stored in ABDOCCONFIG.

• Maintenance

You can choose between different sets of parameters to be passed to function module ABAP_DOCU_CONFIG, which is called with dialog:

• Parameter set typical for SAP development systems

• Parameter set typical for customer development systems

• Parameter set typical for SAP S/4 HANA systems

• Parameter set typical for S/4 HANA cloud ABAP environment

• Parameter set typical for SAP BTP ABAP environment

• Current parameter set

The passed parameters are used as default values for the dialog and can be overridden there.

• Configuration Entity

Function module ABAP_DOCU_CONFIG is also called by configuration entity ABAP_DOCU_CONFIG_ENTITY, which is implemented in class CL_ABAP_DOCU_CONFIG. By choosing the configuration entity you submit the program STCCONT_CE_TEST that can be used to test and execute configuration entities. Using operation S_MAIN, actually changes the configuration.
