ABAP_KW_LINK - Links from AS ABAP to Knowledge Warehouse

Purpose

This program can be used to find or create entries in the table IWREFERENC (without having to use an external system). The table IWREFERENC contains the data for links from AS ABAP to the application help in Knowledge Warehouse (KW).

Links can be found or created for the following purposes:

• Links for transactions that are active automatically when "Help -> Application Help" is chosen.

• Links for use in explicit calls using a function module, for example after an "i" button is chosen.

• Links for use in SAPScript documents.

Furthermore, existing links that no longer work can be repaired, an existing functioning link can be placed in a transport request, or one or more links can be deleted and the deletions transported.

Integration

Prerequisites

This program can only be used by experienced users with in-depth knowledge of the database table IWREFERENC. Users without this knowledge should use Knowledge Warehouse tools to create and correct links.
