Purpose

You can use this program to repair links to Knowledge Warehouse (accessed using "Help -> Application Help").

Integration

Can only be called via the program ABAP_KW_LINK.

Activities

  1. Call the required SAP Library text in the browser.
  2. Execute program.
  3. Enter the combination of transaction code and program (optional) to be repaired, plus the screen number.
  4. Execute
  5. Copy the LOIO and SLOIO from the address line of the browser into the corresponding fields on the selection screen. Appropriate values (XDP_STRUCT/IWB_STRUCT or BCO_COMMON/IWB_EXTHLP) must be specified for the structure class and topic class.

    An optional key value can be specified for an industry enhancement. It is saved and used to locate the link when it is used. It can be set for the associated documentation only. In SAP Basis in particular it has to remain empty.
  6. Check
  7. If the correct documentation is displayed: Execute
  8. Repair the modified link to the database in the results screen. A transport request must be specified.
