The alerts in the Monitoring and Alerting Infrastructure alert store can be confirmed either manually from alert inbox, or automatically, during housekeeping, depending on the age of the alerts specified in Solution Manager Configuration under SOLMAN_SETUP->Application Operations -> System Monitoring -> Configure Infrastructure -> Housekeeping -> Automatically confirm alert groups older than.
Confirmed alerts are stored in another persistency for some more time, as configured in the housekeeping settings for Confirmed Alerts under SOLMAN_SETUP->Application Operations -> System Monitoring -> Configure Infrastructure -> Housekeeping -> Automatically delete the confirmed alert older than.
This report program purges the confirmed alerts which are older than the age maintained in this step.
