ADPIC_MPN_XPRA_PICHD - XPRA for PICHD

Purpose

Conversion to SAP S/4HANA is accompanied by the use of the long material number used in the SAP Discrete Industries and Mill Products (DIMP) solution instead of the standard SAP ERP material number. This means that the internal material number, which is stored in the relavant material number field (PICNUM), can directly be replaced by the external material number, which used to be stored in the mapping table MATERIALID. Therefore, the access of the mapping table is not necessary anymore.

You use this XPRA to replace the values stored in the PICNUM field in the PICHD table with the corresponding values stored in the MATNR_LONGfield of the MATERIALID table.

The PICNUM field in PICHD table is a multipurpose field. This XPRA retrieves the records from this table (PICHD) and checks the value of the PICCAT field (Interchangeable Parts category). If the field value for PICCAT is 02, the PICNUM value for this record is replaced with the long material number (MATNR_LONG)from the MATERIALID table, comparing the existing PICNUM field value with the corresponding MATNR_INTfield value.
