AI_LMDB_EXEC_VERIFICATION - Execute Verification For Product Systems

Purpose

You can use this report to execute the landscape verification for a list of product systems.

Integration

This report can be used to initialize the landscape verification results during the setup phase of the solution manager (once the product systems are migrated from SMSY).
It can also be used to update the landscape verification results for a set of product systems at a later point in time.

Features

Selection

This report provides the following selection options:

• Namespace

By default, the active namespace is used for the execution of the landscape verification.
If other namespace are also maintained in the LMDB, these namespaces can also be selected alternatively.

• List of Product Systems

This selection allows restricting the processing to the product system matching the entered range.
By default, all product systems of the selected namespace will be processed.

The following technical settings can be done for the execution:

• Refresh period for outdated verification results

By default, the report will update all landscape verification results that exceed the refresh period defined in this setting. This ensures that the landscape verification results are based on the latest product definitions stored in the service marketplace.
If this setting is disabled, then only results are updated, where the system constellation has changed since the last verification.

• Forced execution mode

By default, the report will only update landscape verification results where the refresh period is exceeded, or the system constellation has changed since the last execution.
This parameter allows forcing the execution for all selected systems, if the flag is set.
(This setting is not recommended as standard setting, as it creates additional load on the service marketplace).

Standard Variants

Output

This report creates an application log. The application log can be found in transaction SLG1:

Object:	AI_LMDB
Subobject:	VERIFICATION

If the report is executed in dialog mode, the application log is also displayed at the end of the execution.
