BC505EX1 - Prepare a table to have nearly max extents

Description

Report BC505EX1 is used for training purposes. Table BC505EX is dropped if it exists and then recreated with small storage parameters (init: 8K, next:8k, maxextents: 300) in tablespace PSAPUSER1D. Then the table is inserted until around 280 extents are allocated.

Requirements

Check that sufficient freespace is available in tablespace PSAPUSER1D. The program will work for freespace larger than 2.5MB.

Output

No output.

Example

Execute report BC505EX1 as a preparation for reports BC505EX2 and BC505EX3.
